Greetings from the Grand Lodge on Peak 7! The month of May marks several improvement projects around the property. We are excited to create a safe and warm atmosphere for all of our owners and guests.

Grand News:

  • Grand Lodge on Peak 7 owner Patrick Lynch was the March winner of two Epic Local Passes for the 2017-2018 ski and ride season. Congratulations!
  • The South Building will be brightened up with a new paint color! We are excited for everyone to experience this wonderful change.
  • As the retiling of the Soothe Spa locker rooms pushes forward, we are excited to offer in-room treatment services. Please contact Soothe directly at 970-547-8701 for any details and availability.
  • Televisions are being upgraded to larger screens with an interactive guide channel. This upgrade is taking place throughout May.
  • New dining room tables, chairs and bar stools have been added to the master units in Phases 1 and 2.
  • Construction will be taking place this summer on Ski Hill Road from May 1 thorough mid-October. Go here for more information on delays and alternate routes.

In our effort to keep the resort in excellent condition for all of our owners and guests to enjoy, we will be doing some short amenity closures this spring for cleaning and scheduled maintenance. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these closures! Listed below are May’s aquatic closures:

  • May 1-3: Lower Hot Tub
  • May 3-6: Indoor Hot Tub
  • May 8-10: Kids Pool
  • May 10-12: Upper Hot Tub
  • May 15-17: Adult Pool
  • May 17-19: Outdoor Hot Tub

As we approach the summer season, we wanted to provide a few friendly reminders.

  • Smoking is not allowed in the common areas of the property, including the Pool Area, Dog Park and Courtyard in between the buildings. Please reference the Front Desk for smoking-friendly areas.
  • We look forward to accommodating your furry friends during everyone’s vacations. Please take a moment to reflect on our pet policy.

Grand Timber Lodge Property Information

It is hard to believe it is already May! While this month is somewhat of a quieter time in the town of Breckenridge, here at Grand Timber Lodge we have many different projects going on! Please take a look at all the exciting updates we are doing between April and May:

  • We have recently added two new landscaper positions, and we are excited to have this work performed in-house by our own employees this year as opposed to using an outside contractor. Our beautiful property is sure to have beautiful grounds that match throughout this summer!
  • During the month of May, we will be replacing all the living room furniture in each building during their designated spring “block” week. We will be done by the end of May and are excited to see our rooms with their new and improved look!
  • We will be replacing all the windows in Building 2. This project started at the end of April and will continue through the end of May. Throughout the installation, there will be a large trailer parked at the back entrance to Grand Timber in between Buildings 2 and 4. We will try our best to keep this area clean and free of debris, but please bear with us as this is a major construction project.
  • Another exciting project we have going on in May is the complete refurbishment of the elevator in Building 5. We are using the same design that is currently in the elevators for Buildings 3 and 4.
  • From April 24 to June 30 Park Avenue from Ski Hill Road to the entrance of F-Lot will be closed, with local business access ONLY. Access to Four O’clock Road will be via Village Road. For more information and alternative routes go here.

March gave beautiful weather to all our spring break visitors. If you did not get a chance to visit last month, no need to worry! April’s bluebird days are Breckenridge locals’ favorite time to hit the slopes, and you will be sure to enjoy them, too!

Grand News:

  • Grand Lodge on Peak 7 owners Clinton and Leslie Popovich were the February winners of two Epic Passes for the 2017-2018 ski and ride season. Congratulations!
  • Nicole Raciboski, formerly a Front Desk and Spa Supervisor, has accepted the Guest Services Manager role. She has worked at Grand Lodge on Peak 7 for four years and we look forward to the continued success of the Guest Services team under her leadership.
  • Cathy Galvez, Room Quality Supervisor, has been recognized by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) for her superior service.  She is a silver medal winner for Housekeeping Team Member. Congratulations, Cathy!

As the ski season winds down, the staff begins to gear up for property improvement projects. Listed below are April’s closures:

  • The spa locker room is getting a brand-new tile floor! This area will be closed from April 22 through May 19. The Day Use lockers will remain available during this time.
  • Soothe Spa and the Grotto will be closed from April 22 through April 28. Refresh Spa located at Grand Timber Lodge will be open during this time for the use of owners and guests.
  • The plunge pool will be closed from April 26 through April 28 for deep cleaning and routine maintenance.

In addition to these closures, owners can look forward to many other improvement projects. Over the next two months, we will begin upgrading our unit televisions and switching to an interactive guide channel. The first floor hallways, ski locker room and library will get new carpet. The South Building common areas will get new paint. We hope you are as excited about these projects as we are.

March is the most popular time of year due to plenty of snow for all kinds of winter activities and an abundance of sunny days. The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is filled with owners enjoying spring break with their families. If you are celebrating a special occasion while staying at the Grand Lodge, please let us know so we can help you celebrate!


  • Congratulations to owners Ingrid and Leo DeGreef!  They were the Concierge January raffle winners of two Epic Passes for the 2017/2018 ski season.
  • Pool furniture replacements continue, with new sitting chairs and side tables. These pieces are more durable, sturdy, and visually pleasing. Please remember that when using the pool areas, ski equipment is not permitted in these areas. This includes both the indoor and outdoor pool areas.
  • A refrigerator has been added to the Day Use Lunch Room for our owners to use while using day passes.
  • A second microwave and additional seating have been installed in the Day Use Lunch Room.

Traveling has its fair share of challenges. It is easy to mix up travel dates, forget to cancel Day Use reservations and items sent prior to arrival can get lost. We wanted to share a few tips to help avoid these traveling downers:

  • Prior to arrival, visit Grand Central to check the Calendar of Weeks list. To find this, log in, select Grand Lodge on Peak 7, then select Reservations. You will be able to view the weeks for 2017 through 2021 and their corresponding dates.
  • Make sure to cancel all Day Use reservations or waitlist requests that you will not be able to use. If reservations go unused, owners will lose Day Use privileges for seven days, including any existing reservations. If you are awarded a Day Use parking spot from the waitlist and do not check-in, the same penalty will be applied.
  • When shipping items to the Grand Lodge on Peak 7, UPS or FedEX are the only methods of shipment. Please use the following address:

The 2016/2017 ski season has been a Grand year for all our owners who enjoy wintertime activities. At the end of January, Breckenridge Ski Resort reported a base of 59 inches with 198 total inches fallen so far. For daily updates on the snow report, please visit,  ski conditions and snow reports.

Grand News:

  • Congratulations to owners Gary and Barbara Bernhardt, the Concierge December 2016 winners of Epic passes for the 2017/2018 Ski Season. Stop by the Concierge Desk to see how you can enter to win.
  • New cardio equipment has been installed in the fitness center. These new machines represent an upgrade and have some exciting new features. Please check them out next time you visit.
  • Soothe Spa is offering in-room treatments, including single and couples massage therapies. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, this is a Grand opportunity to purchase a gift certificate or schedule a treatment. Call 970-547-8701 today.
  • The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 Reception Center is now open for owners to meet for their owner update and pick up any tour gifts. This is located on the first floor in the South Building.
  • The fourth-floor sales gallery office spaces are being converted into three two-bedroom units. The transformation will be ongoing through 2017.

The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 would like to remind our owners of a couple of resort polices:

  • Owners are permitted two dogs per reservation if they have reserved a pet-friendly unit. Owners with pets in non-pet friendly units, pure units, are subject to additional cleaning cost and rental fees. Please call the Owner Support department at 877-453-4440 for any unit request prior to check-in.
  • Smoking tobacco is allowed on private decks of the units and in designated areas at the exits of the resorts. No smoking or use of vapor devices is permitted on property. Violation of the smoking policy can result in a fine of up to $500.
