Gold Point Property Information

Letter from the General Manager

Summer has arrived! This is one of my favorite times of the year in the Rockies. The views from Gold Point Resort have been absolutely beautiful! Breckenridge Epic Discovery, formerly known as the Breckenridge Summer Fun Park, opened on June 9. New activities include additional zipline tours and a ropes course.

We are in the process of installing new recycling bins in the common areas of each building. The new recycling bins will go hand in hand with the new Breckenridge ordinance, which asks that glass be separated from other recycling.

The kitchen and hallway lighting in the Gold Point I Penthouses are currently being upgraded. We are switching from the original ceiling lights to more efficient LED lights and new fixtures.

Zach Black and Katelyn St. John have recently joined the Gold Point Resort team. Zach, the newest member of Gold Point Engineering, is originally from Summit County. Katelyn is originally from Vermont and is a Room Quality Supervisor in Gold Point Housekeeping. They both look forward to meeting you the next time you are on-property.

On July 5, a wildland fire was spotted on Peak 2 in Breckenridge. This fire spread over 87 acres and lead to pre-evacuation measures for some areas within Breckenridge. With the help of local and federal resources, we are happy to report the fire is 85 percent contained and no longer represents a threat to the town or public. We are extremely grateful for the amazing job the firefighters and community did to keep all of its guests and residents safe.

We look forward to seeing you this summer!

Grand Regards,

Lindsay Reinwand
