BGV Adopt-A-Trail Project

We invite you to join Breckenridge Grand Vacations staff members for our 9th Annual Trail Maintenance Project.  Working with Friends of the Dillon Ranger District, each year BGV “adopts” a section of a local trail in need of repair and maintenance. We also encourage our staff to participate in philanthropic efforts like this by offering 24 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off during the course of the year.

We have set aside four days this summer to put invest some muscle and sweat into ensuring that it is a great resource for our owners, guests and employees for years to come.

BGV staff members will serve as trained crew leaders for the projects, with on-site supervision by FDRD staff.  The four days this summer for work on the trail are:

Each work day will run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with a cookout following the work to celebrate a day well spent.  You may join us for as many or as few of the work days as you want, and for all or part of the day, depending on your schedule.

The work will vary enough in type and intensity so that there will be something that everyone can do.   Volunteers must be at least 5 years of age, and we will have special tasks prepared especially for the youngsters.

If you would like to spend an overnight or two in Breckenridge while you participate in the trail maintenance, our Owner Support Specialists staff will be happy to help you.  Call them at 877-453-4440.

It is helpful if you can sign up in advance, so that we’ll know how many to plan for.  You can sign up on the Dillon Ranger District website at  Just click on the “Volunteer” button, find the date you want to work, and complete the minimal information.

If you would like more information before you commit your time, please contact Deb Edwards at 970-547-8748 or

We hope to see you on the mountain!
