Grand Timber Lodge Property Info

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from your home in Breckenridge!

Spring is one of my favorite times of the year! The warm weather and blossoming aspen trees make it a great time to explore the outdoors. The bike trails are starting to dry out and the shops are getting their inventory of bikes in but make sure to call ahead as the inventory is limited. For those of you who are still in need of some spring powder turns, the Breckenridge ski resort plans to stay open until Memorial Day. Just remember to use warm weather wax.

The county has said that they will roll back the rest of the COVID restrictions on May 27, provided 70 percent of adults in Summit County are vaccinated and it looks like we are on pace to meet these numbers. Please keep this in mind when you are traveling if you are not entirely comfortable with being in larger crowds.

With the move into Level Green, we have been able to update our amenity reservation policies. Building 5 aquatics are just one of the many amenities that no longer require reservations. Go here to learn more.

Here is a taste of what else has been going on around the property:

  • We are in the process of replacing the patio furniture on the balconies of each room. The new chairs and end tables have a similar look to the newer furniture we have in the pool areas and some common property areas.
  • We are wrapping up the first phase of window and door replacement in Building 5, including all of the common area exits and the first part of the room’s windows and balcony doors. We will be finishing up the remainder of the rooms in Building 5 next year.
  • We are excited to launch our new activity of Salt and Sugar Scrubs! This is a DIY recipe to make a scrub to take the spa experience back to your room! Swing by the Activities Center in Building 6 for more information.
  • We have a new family of baby foxes living on the property. These critters are adorable, but they are wild animals, so make sure to take photos from a distance.

We welcome your feedback and suggestions on making Grand Timber Lodge a better place for you and your family. You may always send ideas to eli@grandtimber.com for considerations!
