BGV Family Spotlight

This month’s employee spotlight is Sarah Smith! Sarah has worked as our Activities Coordinator at Grand Timber Lodge for three months. Here is a bit about Sarah:

• What is your favorite place you have traveled to? My favorite place to have traveled to would be Colorado, which is why I moved here long-term! My next favorite would be London. I was only 12 or 13 so I hardly experienced much- I would love to go back someday soon but flights are soooo pricey.
• Favorite thing to do outside of work? Anything outdoorsy; Snowboarding, hiking, camping, travel, etc.!
• What made you move to Breckenridge? I moved to Breckenridge for this position specifically. I had a contract position that ended and couldn’t be extended until much later in the year. Breckenridge seemed to be the only place that was getting back to me. The Universe pretty much nudged me into this direction
• Favorite part of your job? The creative autonomy! It’s hard to just pick one though. I love that I get to meet and talk to so many people from all walks of life. I also get to do fun crafty projects every day which is pretty awesome.
• If you could be any superhero, which one would it be? Wonder Woman!! She’s gorgeous, strong, intelligent, and has basically all of the super abilities; the power of flight (she can glide through the air on currents in the wind), superhuman speed, reflexes, agility, and enhanced senses, including smell, vision, and hearing.
• And last, anything else you would like our owners to know about you? I love meeting and talking to new people! I would be honored to have any of our guests or owners come into the Activity Center to do one of the many things on our schedule with me!
