At Breckenridge Grand Vacations, we have a family motto, ‘OneBGV!’ This includes our employees and our owners. The BGV Family Spotlight will let our employees get to know our owners and our owners will have a chance to get to know our employees!

Employee Spotlight

This month’s employee spotlight is Danica Tricia Gonzales! Danica works in our Marketing department as a Grand Vacation Specialist. Here is a bit about Danica:

  • What is your favorite place you have traveled to? My favorite place I have traveled to will always be home, the Philippines. The Philippines has 7,107 islands and I’ve been to most of them. Boracay Island is on my top list, with clear water and white sands. It’s beautiful. Perfect for a summer getaway!
  • Favorite thing to do outside of work? Depending on Colorado weather or season but I love biking in summers. We always do the biking trail over at Vail, it’s a little challenging for beginners but a good challenge for sure. Not super easy trails but not too hard either. I ski during the winter season. In fact, I just learned how to ski but I’m already in love with it. I’m still on blues right now but the goal for this season is to do some blacks. I think I’m ready for it!
  • What made you move to Breckenridge? My best friend moved here five years ago and I fell in love with this lovely town when I came to visit her so I decided to stay.
  • Favorite part of your job? Being the end of the line of every guest/s needs and making their vacation GRAND!
  • If you could be any superhero, which one would it be?My MOM. My mom is probably not a superhero to anybody’s eyes but she is the only superhero I wanna be. My mom is a single mom and raised me on her own. She is a strong woman and admire her for that. It’s not easy to raise a kid on your own but she did it. I am not going to be where I am right now if it wasn’t for her.
  • And last, anything else you would like our owners to know about you? My family calls me “Dangkingka” cause according to them, I always ask for Dunkin Donuts when I was a kid. “Dunkin, Dunkin”, Danica= “ca” ; “DunkinCa” pronounced as “Dangkingka”

Owner Spotlight

This month’s owner spotlight is the Blickendorf Family! Joni, Jim and their family have been owners with us for seven years! Here is a bit about the Blickendorf Family:

  • What is your favorite place you have traveled to? We were awarded an all-expense-paid trip to Maui several years ago and THAT was the way to vacation in Hawaii!
  • How long have you been owners with Breckenridge Grand Vacations? Seven years
  • What property or properties do you own at? The Grand Colorado on Peak 8, The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 and Grand Timber Lodge
  • What made you join the BGV Family? We fell in love with BRECK and the whole BGV family, the resort ownership model, the properties, the amenities, the town, and the year around Mountain lifestyle!
  • What is your favorite thing about your ownership? The 365 Day Use, Bonus time, parking access, all the amenities AND sharing it ALL with FAMILY!
  • If you could be any superhero, which one would you be? Wonder Woman on skis!
  • What is your favorite restaurant in Breckenridge? So many choices…but really enjoy a great brewery and drinks and apps at Robbie’s Tavern.
  • Anything else you would like to share about yourself or your ownership?  It’s truly like HOME at each one of our residences. We now have a 2-year-old granddaughter in our family and another grand on the way! It’s THE reason we joined the BGV family…to SHARE time making memories with our family and grands!! Making GRAND MEMORIES is the BEST!
