BGV Family Spotlight

This month’s employee spotlight is Danica Tricia Gonzales! Danica works in our Marketing department as a Grand Vacation Specialist. Here is a bit about Danica:

• What is your favorite place you have traveled to? My favorite place I have traveled to will always be home, the Philippines. The Philippines has 7,107 islands and I’ve been to most of them. Boracay Island is on my top list, with clear water and white sands. It’s beautiful. Perfect for a summer getaway!
• Favorite thing to do outside of work? Depending on Colorado weather or season but I love biking in summers. We always do the biking trail over at Vail, it’s a little challenging for beginners but a good challenge for sure. Not super easy trails but not too hard either. I ski during the winter season. In fact, I just learned how to ski but I’m already in love with it. I’m still on blues right now but the goal for this season is to do some blacks. I think I’m ready for it!
• What made you move to Breckenridge? My best friend moved here five years ago and I fell in love with this lovely town when I came to visit her so I decided to stay.
• Favorite part of your job? Being the end of the line of every guest/s needs and making their vacation GRAND!
• If you could be any superhero, which one would it be?My MOM. My mom is probably not a superhero to anybody’s eyes but she is the only superhero I wanna be. My mom is a single mom and raised me on her own. She is a strong woman and admire her for that. It’s not easy to raise a kid on your own but she did it. I am not going to be where I am right now if it wasn’t for her.
• And last, anything else you would like our owners to know about you? My family calls me “Dangkingka” cause according to them, I always ask for Dunkin Donuts when I was a kid. “Dunkin, Dunkin”, Danica= “ca” ; “DunkinCa” pronounced as “Dangkingka”
