BGV Family Spotlight

At Breckenridge Grand Vacations, we have a family motto, ‘OneBGV!’ This includes our employees and our owners. The BGV Family Spotlight will let our employees get to know our owners and our owners will have a chance to get to know our employees!

Employee Spotlight

This month’s employee spotlight is Mitchell Spielberger! Mitchell has worked in our Owner Relations department for three years and is now our Owner Relations Trainer. Here is a bit about Mitchell:

  • What is your favorite place you have traveled to? Israel
  • Favorite thing to do outside of work? Go/Travel to see live music (Umphrey’s McGee)
  • What made you move to Breckenridge? I wanted to try something new, being from Alabama, and I had been skiing once in 1996. I moved to Breckenridge in 2014, sight unseen, and knew two people in the county.
  • Favorite part of your job? I love talking about vacations – everyone likes to go on vacation. Getting people excited to take a vacation or to utilize their benefits makes me happy and excited for the owners/guests.
  • If you could be any superhero, which one would it be? Spiderman
  • And last, anything else you would like our owners to know about you? I am a die-hard Alabama Crimson Tide fan – ROLL TIDE

Owner Spotlight

This month’s owner spotlight is Jessica Forshee! Jessica and her family have been owners with us for almost three years! They are owners at the Grand Colorado on Peak 8. Here is a bit about Jessica and her family:

  • What is your favorite place you have traveled to? Molokai, Hawaii
  • How long have you been owners with Breckenridge Grand Vacations? Almost three years
  • What property or properties do you own at? The Grand Colorado on Peak 8
  • What made you join the BGV Family? We had an amazing tour by Art and felt our family would love it here.
  • What is your favorite thing about your ownership? Amenities and the staff. We consider Peak 8 our second home, and the staff is our family. You never need to leave the resort with all the amenities and activities available in-house.
  • If you could be any superhero, which one would you be? Wonder Woman, Who wouldn’t want a magic lasso and an invisible plane?
  • Anything else you would like to share about yourself or your ownership? We live within three hours on Breckenridge, so it’s a nice close getaway. We all know COVID has thrown a wrench in the mix, but for us, we can make a day of it and use the amenities while family skies/snowboards.
