APPETIZERS
Start your party with some light and easy-to-make apps. These will pair perfectly with poolside relaxing!
Olive Fusion Caprese Kabobs:
- wooden skewers
- cherry tomatoes
- 1 or 2 containers mozzarella balls
- fresh basil leaves
- Olive Fusion Balsamic (flavor of your choice)
Alternate tomatoes, mozzarella and basil on skewers. Drizzle with balsamic. Serve!

- 2-3 meats
- 2-3 cracker types

Want to skip the cooking and go straight to the fun? Call Moe’s BBQ and order some of their sides for pick-up. They offer baked beans, marinated slaw, potato salad, corn bread and daily side specials.
BURGER
Spice Merchant Burgers:
- Ground beef (or use elk or buffalo for an extra unique taste)
- Spice Merchant spice of choice
- Buns
- Cheese
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Condiments
Enjoy soaking in the sun while grilling up some tasty burgers. Mix your ground beef and spice of choice (add some diced onion, jalapeno and cheese to the mixture for extra flavor), press patties to ¾ think and make a deep depression in the center with your thumb. Place patties on a hot grill. Grill burgers for about 3 minutes, flip and grill for an additional 3-5 minutes. Add cheese to burgers while on grill. Remove burgers from grill, place on buns and top with condiments, lettuce and tomato. Enjoy!

No BBQ is complete without a tasty beverage. Swing by a local brewery or distillery to pick up the final touches to your Memorial Day BBQ!
Broken Compass: Located off Airport Road, this local brewery is known for their Coconut Porter and Chili Pepper Pale Ale. Stop by, sample a few of the beers on tap and take a growler to go.
Breckenridge Brewery: Located on Main Street, a stop at Breckenridge Brewery is a must! Enjoy a pint at the bar and find your favorite and pick up a growler. Any liquor store in Breckenridge will have your Breck Brewery beer of choice for purchase.
Breckenridge Distillery: Swing by the Main Street tasting location or the headquarters off Airport Road. Either location will allow you to sample all of the delicious liquors the distillery makes. From Breck Bourbon to Chile Vodka, there is something for everyone. For a perfect BBQ cocktail try a Mule in Paradise:
