Summer is a special time in the mountains! Whether you are enjoying a refreshing day by the pool, a scenic lift ride or hiking around discovering new wildflowers on one of the many mountain trails, we want you to enjoy all Breckenridge has to offer in the summertime!

Located at the base of Peak 8, Epic Discovery features a scenic chairlift that will take you to the top of Peak 8, Alpine slide and the Goldrunner Coaster. Come join us in summer fun!

Mountain Activities | 10:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.

BreckConnect Gondola | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

BreckConnect Gondola

The Breckenridge Gondola is one of the favorite attractions amongst our visitors. The gondola is a free ride to the base of Peak 8. When on the gondola you can look out and get 360 views of Breckenridge, keep your eye peeled you may see moose or other wildlife on your ride. Furry friends are welcome aboard too!

Scenic Chairlift

Take a ride on the Colorado Superchair to enjoy Colorado’s beautiful summer weather and views. Once you get to the top you have a couple different options; you can take a nice hike back down or you can ride the chair back to the base of Peak 8. The options are endless.

Pricing: $23

Alpine Coaster

The traditional alpine slide consists of sitting on a rolling sled and soaring down the mountain. You have full control of your speed through the berms, turns and straightaways with a lever located in the middle of the sled! The only decision you have to make is which exhilarating 2,600 ft-long course you would like to take and how fast you are going to go!

Mountain Biking

Choose from a variety of green, blue or black mountain biking specific trails. Take the chairlift to the top and enjoy the scenic ride down, or if you are looking to work up a sweat ride as far to the top as you would like and enjoy the ride down.

Bungee Trampolines

Get ready to harness up and jump, flip and soar high into the sky and reach towards the mountaintops.

Riding Requirements: must be 30 – 180 lbs.

Mini Golf

Let your inner child come out and play a round of mini-golf! Take turns on this family-friendly and possibly the most scenic mini-golf course there is!

Pricing: $20

Silver Summit Climbing Wall

Are you ready to climb this 35-foot tall climbing wall designed with novice and beginner climbers in mind. Harness up and let your adventurer side come to new heights. There is so much fun to be had!

Riding Requirements: must be 45 – 240 lbs. Sturdy shoes are recommended.

Goldrunnner Coaster

This is a fun, unique way to experience the mountain. This coaster is on a metal track allowing you to control your speed as soar through the trees and glide through hairpin curves and twists as you venture down the mountain, some would call it a mini rollercoaster. Ride single or with a friend, it is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
