27th Annual

The Frisco BBQ Challenge is back! This Summit County favorite returns from its hiatus for the 27th year this Father’s Day weekend. What began in 1993 with only 12 cooks is now an event that draws in over 30,000 people! The free event hosts a variety of events and concerts alongside the Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned barbeque competition. With free concerts, pig races, a 6K, and delicious food, there is something for everybody!

Back to Basics

This year, the Frisco BBQ Challenge is focusing on the basics- The focus will be on great food and drink, quality live music, and spaces for family and friends to gather.” Previous events felt somewhat like a carnival, with fair food, mechanical bulls, bouncy houses, and more. 2022 is returning to what created this event in the first place- good food, good music, good people! Check out the schedule to the right for a list of events. Swing by, grab some Hogbacks, and eat your way down Frisco Main Street!
