Letter from the General Manager
Dear Gold Point Homeowners,
We had a lovely September. The leaf change was beautiful this year with many vibrant colors visible from the decks of Gold Point. We are looking forward to a wonderful October. Traditionally we would be preparing for the upcoming “block” season and doing preventative maintenance and deep cleans in the units while they are out of order for the week. This year, we have decided to forego blocks to assist in accommodating owners who missed their opportunity to visit Gold Point during the spring closure.
The Engineering team is busy working on maintenance items. We will be replacing the interior unit doors in Building 4 this upcoming fall. We will also be replacing the blinds in Building 3. As well as trying to get in rooms to do small preventative maintenance projects between reservations.
Housekeeping will also try to get into units as time permits to do some mini deep cleans and in-house carpet cleaning.
During October, there will be many classes and tours to take in Breckenridge. BreckCreate is hosting several classes, including ceramics, glass-beaded jewelry, painting, and drawing. Our newest Front Desk associate, Tricia, is the instructor for several of these classes, and is happy to share her tips and tricks. In addition to being a great time for creative fun, October is a great time to go on a historical tour in Breck. The Breckenridge Heritage Alliance hosts several tours, hikes, and events throughout the week, including gold panning, ghost town hikes and a haunted tour of Breckenridge.
Thank you for your valued partnership with Gold Point. Please feel free to reach out to me with any suggestions, questions or comments.
