Letter from the General Manager
Dear Gold Point Homeowners,
We experienced a wonderful January at Gold Point. The snow-capped mountains across the valley are absolutely beautiful at this time of year and it is always fun to watch the skiers and snowboarders from afar.
We are looking forward to a snow-filled February and all the activities to take advantage of in Summit County this time of year. The Frisco Adventure Park is open for the winter and provides some fun family activities. The Adventure Park features a tubing hill with multiple lanes for a variety of different thrills. All tubing lanes are accessed by a surface lift (which means no walking uphill!) allowing all family members to have a great time. In addition to the tubing hill, there is also a beginner skiing hill for those interested in learning to ski and snowboard, as well as Nordic skiing and sleigh rides. For more information and to make reservations, please visit the Frisco Adventure Park website.
On property, our team has been working diligently to provide a Grand vacation for all owners and guests. With several trails just steps from the property, snowshoe rentals have been very popular this winter. As a reminder, you can rent snowshoes from the Front Desk for $20 per day. The Front Desk team is always happy to share their local knowledge and recommend the best trails for your party.
We continue to find ways to improve on-property activities and have added some new craft additions this winter, which include wood-burning and making mason jar snow globes. We are also expanding our market offerings at Gold Point. We have Breckenridge puzzles available for sale, as well as Colorado activity books, masks, and playing cards.
We are pleased to share that new tile has been installed in the Building 7 and 8 hot tub rooms.
As always, please feel free to contact me with any comments, questions, or suggestions.
