The entire Breckenridge Grand Vacations family is excited to be working on the final touches for the Grand Lobby in preparation for its opening this month! In addition to the lobby opening in July, we are also putting together the final preparations for the Phase 2 amenities. They include the Lobby Bar, fitness center, movie theaters, Grotto, arcade, business center/library, Peak 8 Market and Infinity Spa. Not all of these amenities will open at the same time as the lobby, but they will not be far behind and will be worth the wait. We appreciate all the feedback and suggestions from our owners and guests throughout the building of the Grand Colorado on Peak 8. We hope you will be able to see how they are incorporated into the new phases of the resort.
We also believe in collecting feedback from our employees about their level of job satisfaction and how we can help improve that. Breckenridge Grand Vacations (BGV) has always made it a priority to be the employer of choice in Summit County, and in recent years BGV has been named a top company to work for in Colorado. We strongly believe that employees who have a high level of job satisfaction and are recognized for their hard work become a greater asset to our team and will take more pride in going above and beyond for our owners and guests.
Breckenridge Grand Vacations does a fantastic job of recognizing the staff for their Grand customer service, and we would like to ask for your assistance in identifying more employees to recognize. If an employee has made a positive impact on your vacation, please share your experience with us. We would love to recognize them for it. You can share it with any of our staff, email me directly, firstname.lastname@example.org, or fill out a nomination online so the employee will be recognized for a Grand Vacation Award.
On July 5, a wildland fire was spotted on Peak 2 in Breckenridge. This fire spread over 87 acres and lead to pre-evacuation measures for some areas within Breckenridge. With the help of local and federal resources, we are happy to report the fire is 85 percent contained and no longer represents a threat to the town or public. We are extremely grateful for the amazing job the firefighters and community did to keep all of its guests and residents safe.
Thank you for reading and we look forward to seeing you at the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 very soon.
