Letter from the General Manager
We hope everyone had a great holiday season, and we would like to wish everyone a happy new year. If you did not have a chance to visit Breckenridge this holiday season, we encourage you to do so next year. There is something magical about being in town in December, and we hope some of our owners were able to experience it.
The end of 2017 was an exciting time for us, as we celebrated the Grand Colorado’s one-year anniversary on December 17, and reflected on everything we accomplished in the past year. Huge kudos to the entire staff, who worked so hard over the past year to get the Grand Colorado to where it is today, and continues to work hard to make the Grand Colorado even better.
In December we opened the rooftop grilling area located on the second floor between the two buildings, directly on top of the Grand Lobby. The area has six natural gas grills and several seating areas with beautiful views. We were also pleased to open a new bathroom located on the Plaza level right outside the Owner/Guest ski lockers.
In addition to the added amenities, we are always looking for ways to provide better service. Something new for the Grand Colorado is having robes in the rooms upon check-in.

You will find the robes rolled up and placed in the cubbies in each room upon arrival. We think it’s nice to have the robes right there when you are putting on a bathing suit to head to the aquatics area or to the Grotto. Each room will already have two robes in it upon check-in, but if you have more than two people in your room and need additional robes, please request this at the time of booking. We will make sure to place the appropriate number of robes in your room upon arrival. At check-out, please leave all robes in your room to avoid being charged for them. If you are visiting on Day Use and would like to have a robe for the day, please visit the Concierge to receive one for a $5 charge. We hope everyone likes this new idea.
