Spring has arrived in the mountains! This is the perfect time to visit the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 for some much-needed R&R. Kick back and relax in your favorite hot tub, head into town and get a table at your favorite restaurant, and don’t forget to grab a dining passport from the Concierge so you can take advantage of the many great deals being offered around town. Changes have also been made to enhance the Day Use program (Resort Privileges) to provide even more owners with the opportunity to take advantage of this wonderful program. We have implemented a new cancellation deadline: 7 p.m. the evening prior to arrival. Please reach out to the Concierge Desk at 970-547-8780 if you have any questions about this new policy. Maximizing the Grand Colorado parking spaces with as many owners as possible is a top priority for the staff at GC8.

Although Breckenridge Ski Resort has closed for the season, there are still many things to do in the area. Arapahoe Basin remains open and is a quick 30-minute drive from the Grand Colorado on Peak 8. Our Activities department also has a list of activities to do during this time of the year. May is a time of year when you can raft, hike, bike, zipline, etc., and often all in the same day! This is the reason Summit County is Colorado’s playground. The staff has also been busy adding fun outdoor games, such as Connect Four, Bean Bag Toss, and Ladder Ball, to the Aquatics area and new Courtyard Grilling Patio. Visit the Concierge to learn where all these outdoor games are located.

The BGV Owners Spring Celebration Parties will be taking place in the Grand Lobby of the Grand Colorado on Peak 8. The remaining parties are scheduled for May 12, May 19 and June 2, from 4 – 6 p.m. These events are held to celebrate and thank our owners.
