Letter from the General Manager
Summer has arrived in Breckenridge! The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 (GC8) has fully opened all residences and amenities in Phases 1-3, and we are looking forward to a wonderful summer. Epic Discovery, formerly known as the Peak 8 Fun Park, will open on June 8 with new and exciting adventures. Start out at Peak 8 Base Camp for fun with the whole family. Enjoy the thrills of journeying through and around the forest on our Gold Runner Coaster and Alpine Slides. Then soar up the Colorado SuperChair for a bird’s-eye view of three of Colorado’s famous 14ers. Arriving at the top, you’ll reach Alpine Camp, home to interpretive hiking trails and the environmentally inspired Alpineer Challenge Course. And don’t miss the new Expedition Zipline Tour, located at the Independence Outpost and featuring adventure high above the forest floor along ziplines and a bridge walk. All of this is only steps from GC8.
In addition to Epic Discovery, the GC8 Activities team has been busy meeting with local vendors to set up discounts for other exciting activities. There are so many fun things to do in Breckenridge, so please visit our Concierge Desk to learn more about everything we provide to help you enjoy a summer vacation you will never forget!
Our BGV Owner’s Spring Celebration Party on June 2 was the last of five parties held from April to June. We also held the Annual GC8 Owners’ Association meeting on May 19 at Mountain Thunder Lodge. It was great to talk with so many owners during the parties and the meeting. We love hearing stories about our owners’ vacations and getting feedback on how we can make GC8 even better. If you have any ideas, please email me at email@example.com.
As we get into the busier summer months, I wanted to remind everyone about our changes to the Day Use Parking cancellation policy. We are calling it the “Good Karma Cancellation Policy” because the intentions are to allow even more owners to enjoy Day Use parking privileges. The revised policy requires owners with a parking reservation to cancel by 7 p.m. the night prior to arrival if they do not plan to use it. This will help (the good karma part) more owners on the waitlist get in. If owners do not cancel by 7 p.m. the night prior to their reservation, we will assess a 14-day Day Use restriction that will prevent them from booking any additional reservations for two weeks. We also added a new policy that states, “Club Members must remain present during the use of Resort Privileges and therefore cannot leave any guests unattended at the Project at any time. Failure to follow this rule may result in such Club Members’ loss of future Resort Privileges.”
We look forward to welcoming you home very soon!
