Letter from the General Manager
The summer season in Breckenridge is ending, and we are starting to see some fall weather shine through. If you have not been up to the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 in a while, you will be impressed with the progress being made on Building 3. Beams are going up, concrete is being poured and the building is starting to take shape. As many of you know, the fall is a Grand time to be in Breckenridge. The leaves are changing, and the crisp fall air is refreshing on beautiful drives and walks through the mountains. If you are looking for some scenic drives and hikes to take during your visit, please reach out to our Activities Coordinators at 970-547-8781 for recommendations.
We also have some exciting news regarding the Breckenridge Mountain Masters Association (BMMA) shuttle service. The BMMA operates our shuttle and recently announced that, effective September 10, 2018, it will provide service to owners on Day Use to all 18 designated BMMA shuttle stops. Note, however, that the BMMA shuttle will no longer be available to owners on Day Use while the gondola is operating. Exceptions will be made, of course, for those with physical limitations or under other reasonable circumstances. Owners on Day Use are encouraged to take the gondola as it is often faster than the shuttle, it reduces traffic in Breckenridge and it is better for the environment. If you have any questions regarding these new changes, please reach out to our Concierge Team at 970-547-8780.
As we get into the busier winter months, we want to remind everyone about the changes to the Day Use parking cancellation policy. Our goal is to grant Day Use parking privileges to as many owners as we can. The revised policy requires owners with a parking reservation to cancel by 7 p.m. the night prior to arrival if they do not plan to use our parking. This will help us accommodate the owners on the waitlist. If owners with reservations do not cancel by 7 p.m. the night prior to arriving, they will be assessed a 14-day Day Use restriction, which means they will be unable to book additional reservations for 14 days. We have also added a Resort Privileges policy that states, “Club Members must remain present during the use of Resort Privileges and therefore cannot leave any guests unattended at the resort at any time. Failure to follow this rule may result in such Club Member’s loss of future Resort Privileges.” If you are unclear about these changes, our Concierge Team will happily answer any and all questions. They can be reached at 970-547-8780 seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you in Breckenridge again soon!
