Letter from the Assistant General Manager
Summer in Breckenridge has brought endless amounts of sunshine to the area. We have been lucky to have so many beautiful days as motivation to head outside and soak up the sun. During your next trip to Breckenridge, stop by and speak with our Concierge team to see what fun activities you can do while in town.
Did you notice our new sustainability efforts around property? The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 works very hard to reduce our footprint. We have new bulk amenity dispensers in common areas and also in the units now. If during your stay you enjoy the products, feel free to take them home with you. We will simply place a $20 charge per bottle on your account. Another area where owners can help to reduce our footprint is in limiting the number of pool towels used while on property. Each year thousands of gallons of water are used to launder towels that have only been used once.
The Activities Department has started a new fun activity based on the hit show Chopped—it’s called GC8 Chopped! This is a great family activity for individuals of all ages to enjoy. Each team is given three mystery ingredients and then has one hour to cook and plate their dish. The teams are able to use anything they have in their unit or can find while on property. It is amazing to see what each team comes up with and at the end everyone gets to eat and enjoy each other’s creations. Sign your family up the next time you are on property!
