Letter from the Assistant General Manager
Greetings from Breckenridge! The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 is very quiet without our many wonderful owners and guests to fill common areas and amenities. We are counting down the days to our opening so we can welcome everyone back. Things have changed, but we are still looking forward to catching up with everyone via phone or from a safe social distance.
Our Housekeeping and Engineering teams have been hard at work taking advantage of this time to help make improvements to the resort. Below is a list of a few things we have been doing. Maintaining our beautiful resort is our number one priority and we hope you will be pleased with the work we have been doing.
- Deep cleaning all units
- Painting all hallways
- Carpet cleaning in all common areas and units
- Parking garage deep cleaning
- New Grotto furniture
- Deep cleaning in the aquatics areas
- Cleaning of all interior and exterior windows
The safety of our staff has been a high priority for us over the past weeks, and will continue to be once we reopen. We require all staff members to follow all CDC guidelines, as well as the guidelines put in place by the Town of Breckenridge and Summit County. All team members are required to wear masks, have temperatures taken upon arrival to work, and practice safe social distancing while at work.
We are hopefully just a few short weeks away from opening and hope when you come back you will be pleased with the changes we have made to increase the safety of our owners, guests, and staff. You will noticed reduced/widely spaced furniture in many common areas, signage around property promoting safe practices, additional hand sanitizing stations, increased cleaning of common areas, UV light technology for disinfection, and so much more. Please feel free to reach out to us before your stay to hear more about what we have in place for your safety.
We look forward to seeing you in Breckenridge again soon!
