Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from Breckenridge! It has been great here in the mountains! Snow is falling and is in the forecast, which brings smiles to so many faces at the resort. Owners and guests are excited to get out on the mountain and crush some powder during their vacation. The Town of Breckenridge has seen an increase in occupancy as many restaurants have been approved by the Colorado 5 Star Business Certification Program. If you have not heard of this program, it’s a way for businesses that meet particular criteria to operate at an increased level. This has helped businesses increase seating capacity, a big win for visitors. We are happy to announce that Ullr Café, Elev8 Lounge, and the Lobby Bar are all 5-star certified, along with our fitness centers and aquatics areas. We are very proud of these new certifications and you will see our certificates displayed during your next visit.

On property we are working closely with our department managers to start prepping and planning for the spring season and our property improvement projects. This is when we take some time to really get down and dirty in specific areas of the resort, deep cleaning and performing maintenance and improvements.

Some projects we have on our list this year include;

  • Improved furniture and a revamp of the Building 1 Day Use Room.
  • Installation of windows in the doors in Elev8 Lounge to create a more inviting entrance.
  • Sofa replacements in Building 1 & 2 Colorado Master units, to name a few.

We will also be doing our typical cleaning and maintenance work, such as cleaning carpets in all units and common areas and draining and cleaning aquatics areas. Maintaining and caring for your resort is a privilege and we hope you will see some of these changes during a future visit.

We hope to see you in Breckenridge again soon!
