Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Property Info

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from Breckenridge!

We just finished up a fantastic leaf-peeping season in September and now we start to think about snow for the upcoming ski season. But before the snow flies, we celebrate one fun Holiday – Halloween! The Town of Breckenridge has a rich history and something fun to do while visiting is experiencing a Ghost Tour and learning about our Haunted History. Walking through a cemetery at twilight can be a bit scary, but what better way to spend your Halloween vacation with us. Ghost tours are offered year-round as well – something to keep in mind for a trip to Breckenridge anytime during the year. For more information visit here.

As we roll into October, we start our resort’s annual tradition of ‘blocks.’ Our version of Spring and Fall deep cleaning throughout the resort. This is when we shut down rooms in sections for some extra love and care. Our Housekeeping team performs extreme deep cleans and our Engineering team also works on special projects within the rooms. We also work in our many significant common areas on property as well. Please check the GC8 website for pool closure and other amenity closures. Our goal is to close popular areas off as minimally as possible, but as you can imagine, the popular amenities need the most love. We appreciate your patience as we prep the ski season and get it in proper working order for you during your vacation.

We look forward to seeing you in Breckenridge again soon!
