Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Property Info

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from Breckenridge!

Snow is falling and the lifts are turning up at the base of Peak 8. Vail Resorts has been working diligently to make snow and open as much terrain as possible and their hard work is paying off. Also, another great activity to take advantage of while on the mountain and at the resort is ice skating! The GC8 Ice Rink is open and ready for you and your family to come and skate. Pricing for the season for a 1-hour skate session (skates included) is $14 for adults (13 & older) and $10 for children (12 & under). You can even bring your own skates from home with you! Just a $6 charge for an hour skate with your own skates.

As I mentioned last month, we were in the process of preparing the resort for the winter ski season. Prepping locker rooms etc. Did you know as an owner up on Day Use, you have access to lockers on the property? In addition to lockers located in each pool area, Concierge offers Day Use lockers located on the plaza level of Building 1. When checking in for your Day Use wrist bands and/or your parking pass, you can pick up a key for these lockers by having a $20 cash deposit.  These are cleared out every night by the Concierge team. The keys should be returned by 6 p.m. These lockers are great for holding your shoes or a bag but are not large enough to hold your skis.  We do have ski racks around the property.  You can inquire about one of our year-round lockers at the Concierge Desk or call them directly at 970-547-8780.
