Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Property Information- August

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from Breckenridge!

We have been so fortunate this summer with some amazing weather. Some may disagree due to the afternoon showers we have been experiencing, but that just means the county is remaining safe for us to get out and enjoy more!

If you have been up at the resort over the past month, you may have witnessed our closing procedure for pool areas during inclement weather. For your safety, we have to close specific areas of the aquatics when we experience lightning within a 5-mile radius. The main area that must close when lightning is in the area is our outdoor pool area – this does mean our Security team will direct you to a safe location indoors. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these times. We have a team who monitors the weather closely, so we can clear the area when weather rolls in, but then also let you know when it is safe to get back in the water and return to the outdoor area. We want to thank everyone for your help and assistance so far this summer and over the next month or so as we work through this time of year.

We are also excited to share that the resort has reinstated yoga! The amazing instructors at Bhava Yoga in Breckenridge taught the class. The class takes place Wednesday at 8:30am up at Elev8 Lounge. We ask that you sign up the day before by 8 p.m. to allow our instructor time to prepare and plan for the class. You can sign up with our Activities team, Front Desk, or Concierge team. Yoga mats and blocks are provided, so no need to bring your own. The cost for the class is $20 per person. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday mornings up at Elev8 for an amazing start to your day!
