Greetings from your family in Breckenridge! 

Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is pleased to share a few updates with our owners: 

• The Grand Lodge won the Region 8 Pollution Prevention Award from the Environmental Protection Agency for our Snowmelt Efficiency Project. Since implementing this, GL7 has lowered our Natural Gas usage by 14% and saved 2.6-5.3 metric tons of CO2 per month! BGV is the only hospitality group to achieve this federal award in 2023. We are so proud of our Engineering team and various leaders for their work on this project.  
• We have been working on a few projects around the property this fall. We are currently upgrading our in-room TVs to allow for streaming services and a more user-friendly experience. Casting abilities will also be coming soon! We also resurfaced a few areas including the Indoor Pool Area, Fitness Center Porch, and the Family Fun Center Porch. We are pleased to share that these locations are looking grander than ever!  
• Exciting news! Starting soon, the Grand Lodge team will be managing the Lobby Bar. We are in the process of securing our liquor license. Due to laws required for obtaining a liquor license, there will be a short period when the Lobby Bar will be closed. After acquiring our liquor license, we can sell alcoholic beverages in the Market, Spa, and Activities. Thank you for your understanding as we work to create a better and more consistent experience for all owners and guests! 
• Our Activities Department has started a new jewelry-making class. The class teaches you how to make earrings or pendants with dried flowers and resin! Make one of these stunning designs for yourself or as a gift for a loved one during your next visit to the Grand Lodge! 
• We have introduced new items in our Market. We now carry Goodr Sunglasses and Palm Pals, amongst other things. Next time you are up for a visit, stop by the Market to check them out! 
• Summit County comes alive each October with a bewitching array of Halloween festivities and fall events, including Breckenridge Ghost Tours, Pumpkin Patch Wagon Rides, and Breck Create’s Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration. Check-in with our Concierge desk for more information on these events!
