With the arrival of November our minds begin to think of snow and the upcoming ski season. The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is very excited for Breckenridge Ski Resort to open on Friday, November 13! Stay tuned for opening day at Peak 7!
As the snow begins, so do the long check-in lines. To help expedite the check-in process, there is now an online option to complete the necessary registration information prior to arrival. This includes vehicle information, specials requests, arrival time, and any additional guests. To complete this online pre-registration please go here.
November also reminds us that the holidays are upon us, so don’t forget to reserve your holiday tree for your visit. If you would like to request this, please contact the Activities Coordinators directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 970-453-3359. Additionally, the staff has put together some helpful tips for cooking at high altitude to help make your holiday meal just as grandma used to make it! Look for these tips in your information packet provided by the Concierge team upon check-in.
The GL7 staff along with numerous contractors have been extremely busy during our fall deep cleaning all of our units, ensuring all appliances are working and replacing necessary items around the resort. We have successfully replaced the 2nd and 5th floor hallway carpeting with carpet tiles. We have also ordered replacement mattresses for all Phase 3 units and after feedback from our owners we have decided to switch to a slightly softer mattress than we used for Phase 1 & 2 replacements. If you are staying in Phase 1 or 2 and feel your mattress is too firm, please contact the front desk for a memory foam mattress topper. Additional items on order are ottomans, lamps and new sofa sleepers for the master units in Phase 3. If you are interested in any of our old mattresses, ottomans, lamps or sofa sleepers please let us know.
The past few months have been busy at the lodge. We hope you area able to visit soon to enjoy the exciting new updates and changes around the property:
- The Grand Lobby furniture and carpet has been replaced.
- A children’s play area has been added to the Family Fun Center for ages 5 and under.
- The Day Use lunch room flooring has been replaced.
- The bathroom in the connector has been completed.
- A sign has been added at the base of the slide to prevent children from climbing up the slide.
