IMG_0479 IMG_0493 IMG_0497Letter from the Assistant General Manager

February is a GRAND month to visit Breckenridge, to see all of the exciting updates we have made to improve your vacation experience at Grand Lodge on Peak 7 and take advantage of the outstanding ski conditions.

  • Grand Lodge on Peak 7 owner, Steve Seager, is the December winner of two Epic Passes for the 2016-2017 ski season. Congratulations!
  • Soothe Spa is happy to announce, beginning this month, it is offering in-room massage treatments for our Grand Lodge on Peak 7 reservations. This service is available for single and couples massage treatments. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, now is an excellent time to purchase a gift certificate or schedule a treatment! Call 970.547.8701 today.
  • Sevens Restaurant is hosting its annual Wine Dinner on February 11, 6-8 p.m. This is a seven-course small plate and wine pairing for $65 a person. Please place your reservations by February 8.

It is important to mention the Day Use reservation system and the no-show policies. Please cancel any pending Day Use parking reservations no longer wanted, including any wait list reservations. If you receive a Day Use reservation while on the wait list and do not show up, you will be penalized. You will not be allowed Day Use parking for two weeks, and any pending reservation will be canceled.

Grand Lodge on Peak 7 would like to remind our owners of a few other resort policies:

  • Owners are permitted two dogs per reservation if they have reserved a pet-friendly unit.
  • The north building first floor is pet friendly. Pets are not allowed on second, third, fourth and fifth floors of the north building.
  • Pets are not permitted in common areas, including the lobby, elevators and aquatic areas.
  • Smoking tobacco is allowed only on private decks of the units and in designated smoking areas around the exterior of the resort. No smoking or use of vapor devices is permitted on property. Violation of the smoking policy can result up to a $500 fine and is strictly enforced.

We are always looking for ways to make your resort better, so please share any ideas you have with the management team. Also, please remember there are two kiosks on property that allow you to share your feedback with us during your stay. These are located next to the DVDNow machines in both the north and south buildings. In addition to knowing your needs while staying with us, we enjoy receiving feedback about our staff providing exceptional service. The management team enjoys every opportunity to recognize employees for their dedication providing outstanding service and creating GRAND vacations.  These kiosks are another way to share this feedback with us. We look forward to hearing from you during your next visit.

I’m aware that some days are busier than others when day use owners are trying to book parking for the following week, but it’s confusing and concerning when I get an “invalid credentials” message and am unable to get past my efforts to sign in. I’ve been told that you are aware of the problem and IT is working on it, but if you remain aware that the number of owners trying to access your site continues to be problematic, please include info about what the “invalid credentials” message really means and info about when you understand the problem will be resolved.
    Thank you

I have to say the day use parking system has become effectively useless. It takes over an hour for the system to function at 7 am on Saturday and Sunday and by then it is almost a guarantee that there will be no spots. This seems like a bait and switch. Sell folks on the day use, then over sell the place so nobody can use it. I expressed this issue as a concern with Michael during the sale process and was told “that most owners are from out of state and this would not be a problem”. I guess GL7 has reached the point that they just care about getting more of the owners money and to heck with the functionality of the product that we all bought into.

Another Saturday, same BS with the Parking system. Please post my previous post as I don’t think us owners appreciate censorship to assist you to rip more folks off

    • Breckenridge Grand Vacations says:

      Hi Paul,
We aren’t trying to implement any form of censorship in regards to your experiences with the Day Use parking. We did have an agent, Iris, reach out to you so we could discuss this issue more and get some additional details on the specific problems you are having with parking. Grand Central does receive a large amount of traffic on Saturday mornings with owners requesting Day Use parking. This morning starting at 7:00 a.m. we had 1,221 owners login to Grand Central and visit the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 Day Use parking page. Grand Lodge on Peak 7 does not have enough parking spaces to accommodate all of these parking requests, but owners are always welcome to still use the amenities without a parking space. We would love to hear any ideas you may have about Day Use parking to help more owners gain access to this benefit. Feel free to respond to this or give Iris a call back.

On my last visit (2nd week of January) it seems the lodge is becoming LESS FAMILY FRIENDLY and more of a party place…

I would like to see a GLOP7 employee/attendant around the pool areas enforcing the tobacco/Vape Pen rules…we experienced a number of people in the pools and hot tubs (non 21 tubs) using excessive profanity/cussing, to the point where we went to the indoor pool. Additionally, three of these patrons were “chewing tobacco” and spitting from the hot tubs into the rocks, disgusting! Another one had a vape pen they were using. During this time (approx 30 min) I never saw a single employee in the area enforcing rules.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent experience at Grand Lodge on Peak 7. Being a family friendly resort is something we take a lot of pride in and we want families to continue to enjoy our resort without having to deal with the behaviors you experienced. We will share this feedback with our security staff and discuss ways to improve our supervision of the pools and enforcement of our policies. Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us and we hope to see you in Breckenridge again soon! If you would like to discuss this in more detail, please feel free to contact any member of our management team.

For day use….Perhaps you could revisit the cancelation policy time to the night before (10pm) rather than requiring cancelation by 10 am of the reservation day. There are to many “last minute” cancelations which don’t allow ample time to come up once approved from the wait list. Thanks

    • Breckenridge Grand Vacations says:

Great suggestion Mark! We will pass this along the the management team and the HOA board.
