Letter from the Assistant General Manager
The snow is still falling here in High Country! After receiving over 450 inches so far this season, Breckenridge Ski Resort has officially extended operations through the first two weekends in June. Sunday, June 9, looks to be the last day for skiing and riding for the 2018-2019 season. Please note that public parking returns to paid parking on June 1.
The long winter didn’t stop our team from providing seasonal updates and enhancements around the resort. During May, half of the South Building residences received brand new carpeting, and we are excited to let you know that the remainder of the South Building carpeting will be done this fall.
Other notable projects this spring have included mattress replacements and new amenity dispensers for all residences. In addition to the aquatics-area seasonal maintenance, we’ve also applied fresh paint and installed new ceiling tiles to address the humidity from effects of the winter season.
We also would like you to know that Breck Coffee is now providing sustainably sourced coffee for the lobby coffee bar. We are excited by this new partnership and look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback on it. Please feel free to check out Breck Coffee at https://www.breckenridgecoffeeroasters.com/.
FYI, the fourth-annual RAM Heart Health Walk will take place on Saturday, June 8. Please visit https://www.bgvgives.org/heart-health-walk to sign up for the walk or submit your donation to support heart health.
If you are visiting Summit County in June, some fun things to check out include the Frisco Barbeque Challenge and the Keystone Bacon and Bourbon Festival. These two events will take place over the June 15 and 22 weekends, respectively.
We look forward to seeing you on your next trip to Breckenridge!
