Summer is in full swing in Breckenridge!  The Peak 8 Fun Park is now open and the town of Breck has organized many exciting activities and events for the summer.  To learn more about the art festivals, the wine festival, the Breckenridge concert series and other fun events by stopping by our concierge desk or visit our event calendar.

In addition to the many events happening in town, Sevens Restaurant located in the Grand Lodge on Peak 7, will be featuring patio parties every Sunday this summer.  Each theme party will feature a unique cuisine, live music and drink specials.  Sevens will also offer happy hour each day from 3pm-6pm with $1 off drafts and specialty drinks available only during happy hour.  In addition there will be Yappy hour every Friday for your furry best friends on the patio from 3-6pm.  For more details on all the exciting events at Sevens this summer click here or visit our concierge.

On June 6th the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 HOA held its annual board meeting and homeowners meeting at the Mountain Thunder Lodge.  Both were very productive and informative meetings, we discussed many important topics and the board approved the addition of a restroom in the ski locker room.  In conjunction with this project, the developers agreed to install a ventilation system in the ski locker room at their expense.  Both projects will be completed by ski season.

The board also re-elected Linda Cole as the board president for another three year term.  Congratulations to Linda and we look forward to working with her for another three years.  The advisory committee had two changes this year as Emma Chambers and Ken Wang chose not we are pleased to welcome Mike Gould and Lee Morell to the advisory committee and want to thank Emma and Ken for their previous commitment to the advisory committee.  Here at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 we are fortunate enough to have a fantastic board that is dedicated to working with our management company to ensure our Lodge remains the premier property in Breckenridge.

As always we want to be better tomorrow than we are today, so please feel free to share any ideas or suggestions you might have.  We appreciate your feedback!  Below are a few updates to look for during your next trip to the Grand Lodge on Peak 7:

  • We refinished the interior of elevators 2 & 3.
  • We replaced the carpeting in the ground floor of the North Building and removed the bell desk that was in this area.  We have future plans for the area that will be finalized very soon!
  • We added a high top table in the FFC.
  • We installed a security camera system to help with safety and security around the resort.

Thanks for approving the addition of the restroom in the ski locker room area. I’ve never made the suggestion, but when I read this, it makes a lot of sense. Also the ventilation will be nice, as the “aromatherapy” solution was a bit less than ideal.

    Keep up the good work.
