Letter from the Assistant General Manager
Greetings from Breckenridge,
The fall equinox means Autumn is right around the corner. The sounds of crackling leaves and geese beginning their migration south fill the air. The smells of pumpkin spice and warm notes of apple and cinnamon excite the senses, while the gentle glow of aspen trees makes for a spectacular backdrop. The taste of Bavarian beer and tunes of polka music never disappoint at Oktoberfest, kicking off on September 24. In a nutshell, Breckenridge is a top destination for fall-themed fun!
Technology enhancements have continued at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 with an upgrade to Theaters 1 and 2. These theaters now provide 4K viewing technology, similar to Theaters 3 and 4. With NFL season right around the corner, don’t forget that all four theaters are equipped with cable so you can enjoy rooting on your favorite team. Don’t forget the Front Desk is always open to hearing what movies you’d like to see in the theater during your next visit as well!
In other news around the resort, the North Building has received new siding and fresh paint. This project will preserve the exterior of the building for many years to come. The South Building ground floor elevator lobby has been opened up to allow for better accessibility. Please note that ping pong and billiards supplies are now located at the Family Fun Center to make resort navigation a bit easier. The GL7 Market has several new items on display and is now accepting Apply Pay for your convenience.
Don’t forget your cameras during your fall foliage exploration! Please note the following season aquatics closures as we prepare each pool and hot tub for winter.
