Grand Lodge on Peak 7 Property Info

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from Breckenridge,

What a season for fall foliage! The beautiful Colorado colors did not hold back this season. With the perfect recipe of temperatures and sunlight, the color pop was alive and vibrant. For anyone interested in learning more about the influence of weather on foliage, check out this link for more details on planning your next leaf-peeping adventure.

As the days become shorter, the local community begins to buzz with the itch for ski season. The race to be the first Colorado ski resort to open for the season is always competitive, with Keystone resort hopeful to have chairlifts spinning by mid-October! Remember to set those clocks back an hour on November 7 to enjoy an extra hour of sleep!

Foodies rejoice! The return of the Breckenridge Dining passport is here. For a mere $10 donation, the Dining Passport provides numerous discounts to the most popular restaurants in town. These specials will be available from September 27 – November 11.

The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is happy to welcome several new and familiar faces to the leadership team. Lindsay Reinwand is joining the family as Resort General Manager, bringing many years of GM experience to the resort. Vanessa Stewart and Patty Palermo have elevated their roles as Assistant Guest Service Manager and Night Manager. Marina Carpio is heading to Peak 7 from Grand Timber lodge as the Assistant Housekeeping Manager. At the same time, Kevin Blackwood and Madison Syer have accepted roles as Front Desk Supervisors from other resorts in town.

Like most of the US, Summit County is adapting to a very challenging labor market. Even amid those challenges, BGV will continue to put smiles on faces and create Grand vacations for our Owners. We will continue to hire, train and retain excellent employees. We are considering all options to meet that goal. That includes a commitment to competitive wages and benefits and efforts to make sure the employees who serve you can afford to live here. BGV has also added a dedicated employee Recruiter to our Culture and Talent department. We intend to remain the Employer of Choice in Summit County.

Staff are hard at work ensuring the resort is well-prepared for the busy Winter season. These seasonal duties include deep-cleaning residences and amenities, replacing furniture, and executing training and development efforts. Please note the following aquatics closures as part of seasonal maintenance. While these facilities are unavailable, please don’t hesitate to reach out to guest services for alternative options.

Lower Hot Tub: October 17- 24

Adult Hot Tub: October 24 – 31

With Gratitude,
