Grand Lodge on Peak 7 Property Information

June 2023

Letter from the General Manager

Greetings from your family in Breckenridge!

The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is pleased to share a few updates with our owners:

  • Summer in Breck is here, and Breckenridge Ski Resort has officially closed for the season. The gondola and Epic Discovery Fun Park at Peak 8 will reopen on June 30th! The ski resort is working on upgrading 5-Chair this summer which may impact Epic Discovery Fun Park Operations.
  • On that note, more hiking and biking trails are also starting to open around Summit County. Check with the Concierge or Activities staff during your June visit to see what hikes are recommended this time of year.
  • Our Activities Department is offering a new summer activity. Owners and guests can now purchase a waffle with many topping options for $6/waffle or $5/eco waffle if you bring your reusable plate and utensils. Bon Appetit!
  • We completed several maintenance and cleaning projects during our resort closures this spring. We are very excited to share that all living rooms in the North building have been updated with new furniture, including the couch, sitting chair, and tables.
  • The Town of Breckenridge has opened E Bike stations at various locations, including Peak 8. Each station will have bikes that can be rented to ride around town. Bikes can be returned to any station in Breck. For more information, please visit the official website.
  • As a reminder, two robes are available in each room upon check-in. Should you need additional robes, please contact the front desk. To avoid a missing robe fee, please leave all robes in rooms upon checkout. Day Use robes are available at Soothe Spa for a $10 daily fee.
  • The Rise of EVs: In recent years, the world has witnessed a paradigm shift towards sustainable transportation, with electric vehicles (EVs) at the forefront. Here at Breckenridge Grand Vacations, we are committed to installing 200 EV ports across our resorts and offices. EVs are powered by electricity, reducing or eliminating the dependence on fossil fuels, thereby significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 50% compared to a regular combustion engine. The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 will be installing 2 more charging stations to help meet the needs of our owners and guests.  We encourage all our owners and guests to bring their EV/Hybrid vehicles to our resorts and use these stations. While your vehicle charges, you can use our free shuttle service or the town’s new E-Bikes to get around town, along with the Town and county’s free buses to help you go further distances.

We always welcome your feedback and suggestions for making the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 a better place for you and your family. Please send any thoughts to lreinwand@breckgv.com for consideration!
