Grand Timber Lodge Property Information

October 2023

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from your family in Breckenridge!

October is by far one of my favorite times of the year. The leaves have started changing, and the morning air is turning crisp. I love seeing the white caps on the mountains as winter slowly approaches and teases us about the fun we will soon have. October is also a fun time of year in town with lots of fun family-friendly activities, including but not limited to the ones listed below:

  • The Backstage Theater will put on an immersive Edgar Allan Poe-themed haunted house from 10-12-10/28.
  • Join Breck Create for a captivating two-day Dia de los Muertos celebration on 10/13-10/14, located at the Old Masonic Hall on Ridge Street Square.
  • Pick your own pumpkin at Pumpkin Fest at Rainbow Park in Silverthorne on 10/8

Here is what has been going on around the property:

  • We have been doing extensive work on the in-unit TV service. Thank you for your patience if you stayed with us at the end of September and experienced any downtime with the TVs. We are confident that the new service will provide a higher level of service with both on-demand TV and streaming options.
  • Over the past month, we have made extensive repairs to the concrete on the property and the snowmelt system underneath it. We are excited for this work to be completed so our owners and guests can enjoy the property without the risk of snow and ice buildup.
  • We continue to rotate and upgrade the arcade machines in our family fun center in building 6. If you have not been there lately, make sure to stop in on your next visit.
  • We added a bike wash station outside of the building five garage. Please feel free to use this during your autumn rides.
  • Please note that the Administrative Fee associated with splitting owner weeks into two partial stays will now be equivalent to the cost of the cleaning service. This update will begin with reservations created on January 1st, 2024, and beyond. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding this update.

We welcome your feedback and suggestions on making Grand Timber Lodge a better place for you and your family.  You may always send ideas to eli@grandtimber.com for consideration!
