Grand Timber Lodge Property Information

December 2023

Starting in 2024, our newsletter will transition to a quarterly schedule. You’ll receive updates every three months, informing you about everything happening at our properties and around town in Breckenridge. We believe this change will make our updates more relevant and engaging for all our owners.

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from your family in Breckenridge!

December is here, and so is the snow! Our favorite Norse god has started making it snow, and the ski resort is off to an amazing start. If you are in town this weekend, make sure to check out Ullrfest. This town party is always a great time, and with this being the 60th annual, I am sure it will be one for the books! The party will kick off on Thursday the 7th with the world’s longest shotski followed by the parade. The festivities also include a bonfire and lots of shenanigans. Aside from Ullrfest, December is a great time of year to be in Breck to go skiing, snowshoeing or simply enjoy the Après offerings and enjoy the beautiful lights and snow.

Here is what is going on around the property:

  • We finished the installation of new dining room tables, chairs, and bar stools in every room. We have been getting a ton of great feedback on the new products, but would love any feedback you all have
  • We put a new soft flooring around the kiddie pool in the building five aquatics area. This new floor brightens the area and provides much-needed padding for the little ones playing around.
  • We have replaced the ski lockers located around the property. The new lockers are significantly more visually appealing and are easier to operate. All lockers are also now first come, first serve, so please try and consolidate your gear into one locker if possible.
  • Please note that the Administrative Fee associated with splitting owner weeks into two partial stays will now be equivalent to the cost of the cleaning service. This update will begin with reservations created on January 1st, 2024, and beyond. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding this update.

We welcome your feedback and suggestions on making Grand Timber Lodge a better place for you and your family.  You may always send ideas to eli@grandtimber.com for consideration!
