Letter from the General Manager
Greetings from your family at Grand Timber Lodge! Fall is in the air, with the first hints of snowfall gracing the mountaintops on September 15! With the fall colors in full effect, the white mountaintops make for breathtakingly beautiful scenery. While the snow begins to accumulate, we are looking forward to a number of exciting October events.
Still on the Hill: The Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival will take place from October 21–23. There will be special events surrounding the festival, and the Grand Tasting will take place on Saturday, October 22. Come out and sample a variety of handcrafted spirits and artisanal snacks while listening to live music!
Join us for trick or treating on the property this Halloween! We will have candy at various different locations around the property for kids to come and grab. Costumes are encouraged! Stay tuned—an updated activities schedule will come out the week of Halloween!
Congratulations to Rich and Deborah Roth and Michael and Yolanda Bryant, who won 500 Reward Dollars from our monthly drawing for July! Please contact our On Property Concierge at 970.547.3612 for details on how you can be entered to win.
Here are a few other things that are going on around the resort:
- On September 13, Comcast upgraded our TV service to a full high definition signal. In addition to the improved signal quality, we have also been able to add HBO and a guide channel.
- Work to replace the windows in Building 1 commenced on September 12. The project is expected to continue through October 15, at which point each exterior window and door will have been replaced!
- New shower curtains have been placed throughout the resort. We are happy to have a beautiful new design that allows bountiful light into the shower area.
- The Activities department has found a new home in Building 6 by the arcade. The new location will allow Activities staff to host activities in their new space without leaving their desk unattended.

With the upgraded cable we would love to see larger televisions. Your are quite small more like computer monitors.
