Letter from the General Manager
Greetings from snowy Breckenridge! Winter has arrived with a fury. With a pair of large storms before the holidays, we have already enjoyed over 100 inches of snow this season, and there is more in the forecast; snow enthusiasts rejoice! Be sure to book your Day Use reservation today and come play in the mountains! If Bonus Time or Day Use is not available, remember that you can book a 20 percent off reservation at any Breckenridge Grand Vacations Resort. This is an owner’s only discount and a great option if there is no availability at Grand Timber Lodge.
Though we have enjoyed a few generous snowstorms, January affords us a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the Norse god of snow, Ullr! This year’s Ullr Fest runs January 11 through January 14 and is a Viking celebration for all ages. As part of the celebration, the Carriage House Early Learning Center will be hosting a comedy night at the Riverwalk Center the evening of January 13. Come support a good cause and enjoy an evening of laughter!

As we look forward to the new year, we are excited about a host of property improvements planned throughout the year. At this early juncture, our plans and timelines are just beginning to take shape, but here is just a sampling of what we expect to accomplish:
- The new windows in Building 1 have proven to provide a more comfortable, draft-free experience, so we will be replacing all the windows and doors in Building 2 as well. This project is slated to begin toward the end of April and will last approximately six weeks.
- As soon as weather permits, Buildings 3 and 4 will receive a fresh coat of paint.
- We are extremely excited to be updating all the living room furniture in every unit throughout 2017. Please join the Grand Timber Lodge Owners Association Facebook page for updates on this project as it comes closer.
- Look for a renovation of the Building 1 Steam Room to be completed soon, as we seek to provide a more user-friendly experience.
