Letter from the General Manager

Buckle up for an exciting conclusion to the 2017/2018 ski season as we embark on a month full of snowfall and events throughout the town! March is traditionally our snowiest month of the year, so there is most certainly going to be some tremendous conditions on the mountain to be enjoyed as well.

The Breckenridge Backstage Theatre will be producing a completely original musical: Total Awesome 80s Ski Town, USA. The production is sure to make you nostalgic for the days of neon jump suits when Breckenridge Grand Vacations was still just the duo of Mike and Rob Millisor! The show runs throughout the entire month of March and offers an affordable evening on the town! Tickets can be purchased online in advance at www.backstagetheatre.org.

The Breckenridge Tourism Office is also celebrating the second annual Breck Pride March 7 – 11! The event will feature daily après parties, shopping, dining, dancing and world-class DJs. The week is sure to be a fun event to celebrate the diversity in our community.

At the resort, we are excited to be looking forward to a spring time full of exciting projects and updates to the resort. Already, we have plans in place to replace the windows in Building 3 and the bedroom furniture in Buildings 1 through 4. The window and balcony door replacement continues with the third installment and will also feature new window treatments. Bedroom furniture has been selected with an arts and craft style that will bring a cohesive feel to the entire unit. These two projects alone are bound to invigorate the resort, but there are still many additional improvements in the planning phases!

Looking to know what has already been done? Here are a few things that happened in February around the resort:

  • A new, highspeed garage door has been installed on the Building 1 garage. With this update, there are no longer any traditional, noisy garage doors beneath any units. Regardless of unit, you can rest easy knowing that a garage door will not disturb your stay!
  • Engineering has completed the installation of new phones throughout the units. The new phones have a smaller footprint to free up valuable counterspace. In fact, the phones in the master units are even mounted on the wall to fully optimize the space.
  • Beautiful, full-length mirrors are being installed in the master units.
