Grand Timber Lodge Property Information

Letter from the General Manager

As the bears awaken from their slumber and the snow begins to melt, it’s safe to say that spring is finally in the air. Although this wasn’t our snowiest season, turns were earned and much fun was had. As we put away the skis and snowboards and spring into May, it’s time to dust off the mountain bikes, get out the hiking shoes, and enjoy the warmer weather.

We all know the phrase, “out with the old, in with the new.” This month, Grand Timber Lodge is doing just that! The newest upgrade to the property is our new and improved steam room in Building 1.  It’s not just any steam room; it’s a eucalyptus steam room that provides endless benefits. When eucalyptus oil is added to a steam room, it immediately opens your nasal passages and improves breathing. Eucalyptus is a natural disinfectant that helps kill bacteria in the air and wards off viral infections. Eucalyptus oil is an anti-inflammatory, helps with asthma, builds immunity, improves complexion, relaxes muscle pain by helping to eliminate lactic acid buildup, hydrates skin, and relieves stress. Be sure to treat yourself after a long day with some relaxation time in our new eucalyptus steam room!

In addition to the new steam room, we will be installing new windows and doors in Building 3, which will be accompanied by brand new mattresses in Buildings 3 and 4. Buildings 1 through 4 will be receiving entirely new bedroom furniture in every unit. All buildings will be receiving new exit signs, and each unit will now have a Blu-Ray player in the living room. Along with these updates, there are several important dates to make note of for those who will be staying with us in May:

  • 4/29 – 5/8 Lodgepole closed
  • 4/25 – 5/30 Lodgepole closed every Wednesday
  • 4/29 – 5/7 Refresh Spa closed
  • 4/20 – 4/27 Building 7 closed for spring cleaning
  • 4/27 – 5/4 Building 8 closed for spring cleaning
