Letter from the General Manager

As the snow continues to fall and the season attracts more visitors to the mountain, it might be a good time to step back and look at what amazing things the county has to offer. March is Spring Break, which can mean a busier than usual time in Breckenridge. Let’s explore different types of fun that might not be on your radar.

If you’re looking for something of a different flavor on the mountain, meet up with the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District (FDRD) crew! Every Friday at every mountain across Summit County (A Basin, Breckenridge, Keystone and Copper), FDRD has a free, on-hill nature and history tour. Their trained ski rangers lead fellow skiers and boarders down a beginner/intermediate run while stopping to discuss the landscape, wildlife, history and geography. Take the time to learn more about your second home in Summit County.

To keep the on-mountain fun going, three of our local resorts are hosting a night of dining and riding. Over at Arapahoe Basin, they have their Moonlight Dinner Series, a Taste of France. Copper Mountain will be having the final night of their Moonlight Dining Series. To get more information on what they will be cooking up, visit Copper Mountain’s website. If you’re looking for an evening out on the mountain but would like to stay close to Grand Timber Lodge, then give Breckenridge’s Ten Mile Tour and Dinner a try. Ski or snowshoe up to Ten Mile Station, where you will be rewarded with a buffet dinner and night riding under a moonlit trail on March 18!

Getting a little tired from earning your turns on the mountain? Well, head over to Warren Station in Keystone on March 8 for the Bow Wow Dog Film Festival. The Summit County Animal Shelter invites all dog lovers to join the fun. The festival will showcase movies about working dogs, advice for dogs from a dog and international films regarding wildlife. All ticket proceeds will benefit the Summit County Animal Shelter in Frisco. Hey, while you’re on vacation, swing by the animal shelter—you never know, your new best friend might be there waiting for you!

The new family fun center and media rooms are open, and so we would like to take a minute to remind you of the policies for these facilities.

Theater Policies

Theater Booking Policy
- Owners may make one theater reservation as soon as they have a confirmed reservation on property.
- Owners on Day Use may make a reservation for the current or following day.
- Non-owner guests may make a reservation at the time of check-in.
- Unused theaters will be forfeited to someone on the waiting list after 15 minutes.
Theater Key: You will need to stop by the Front Desk to sign out a theater key. The key must be returned immediately after the end of your theater time.
No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your theater reservation within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, we will assume you no longer want to use the theater and will release it to other owners.
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your theater reservation, please do so by clicking the cancel button below the theater reservation you no longer require. Please note that, although there is no penalty for not using your reservation, if you do cancel, it we can reassign it to someone on our in-house waiting list.
Age Requirements: Children ages 15 and up may use the theaters without parental supervision. There are, however, “R” and “NC17” rated movies available, so parents, please take note of this.
Potential Fees: There is no cost for reserving the theaters. In addition, each theater receives a complimentary cleaning by our Housekeeping staff between reservations to ensure the best possible experience for owners and guests. Please note that a cleaning fee of $50 will be charged to the credit card on file if excessive cleaning is required after use. Please let the Front Desk staff know immediately if the theater is not clean upon your arrival.

We recently added all new patio and pool furniture. This new equipment provides a higher-quality product for your lounging experience.
We are upgrading the guest Wi-Fi on property. This much-needed change will provide owners and guests with a better streaming experience.
