Letter from the Assistant General Manager
Greetings from your family in Breckenridge!
Another amazing ski season is wrapping up! Spring skiing is in full force with pond skims and après a plenty! I love seeing people jogging, biking, and snowboarding on the same day. Spring in Breckenridge is truly a time of year to embrace the great outdoors! The transitional times of the year also bring changes with the restaurants and shops, so make sure to check for closures and specials with our concierge team!
Here is what is going on around the property:
- The Activities team has brought back several adult activities by popular request. These are being hosted during après and evening hours and have been a huge success.
- We’ve signed a contract to introduce electric bikes on the property, with a launch expected in May. The fleet will be stationed in the breezeway and managed by a third-party rental company. Best of all, GTLOA will receive a portion of revenue at no upfront cost.
- We’ve installed monitors in our shuttles to provide educational content and promote on-property events and activities, making every ride more informative and engaging.
- The residence refresh project has kicked off. Buildings 1 and 2 are well underway, and the units will soon have new bathrooms and flooring. This is a project we have been anticipating for quite some time!
- Our Engineering team recently completed a refresh of the sauna in the Building 1 pool area. The updated look has been very well received, with owners sharing enthusiastic feedback on the improved experience.
- Our annual window and balcony door replacement has commenced. Over the next month, we will work through the first half of Building 7. We’re continuing with the same trusted vendor from previous years, ensuring an efficient and well-coordinated process with minimal impact on our guests.
With summer travel fast approaching, please remember to make arrangements for dog sitters during your trips to Breckenridge. Many guests and locals have trusted The Dog House for their pet boarding needs!
We welcome your feedback and suggestions on how to make Grand Timber Lodge a better place for you and your family. You may always send ideas to eyoder@grandtimber.com for consideration!
