Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from your family in Breckenridge!

Winter is here and skiing is in full session!

With the new state and county health ordinances, the town of Breckenridge has rolled back their public offerings. Restaurants are currently closed to in-person dining and retail stores have reduced their capacity to 50 percent. In addition, the town is enforcing a strict one-household-per-gathering policy. This means you should only travel to Breckenridge with other members of your household. If you already have plans to come out with another family and are planning on staying in the same unit you will need to either reschedule or book a second room.

As the holidays approach, please remember that our available units fill up quickly. If you and your family are planning a last-minute getaway to the mountains, please call our Owner Support Department ASAP at 877.453.4440 so they can get you settled.

Happy snowboarding and skiing!

Here is a taste of what else has been going on around property:

  • We finished the Building 1 indoor pool area and locker room renovation. After 21 years this area needed some love, and we are extremely proud of how it turned out. Please come check it out the next time you are here!
  • The Grand Timber Lodge was recently honored with the Resort Achievement Award from Interval International. This prestigious award recognizes resorts that consistently exceed all quality benchmarks and customer satisfaction scores. This is a unique award for Grand Timber Lodge and we could not be prouder.
  • With the county health ordinance, our Activities Department has suspended in-person activities. They have brought back the Waffle Bar, though, as a grab-and-go breakfast option. You can come by each morning for a fresh delicious waffle with the toppings of your choosing and take it back to your room to eat. In addition, they have quite a few activities that you can simply pick up and enjoy in your room. Check with the Concierge for our current offerings when you check in.
  • We have also had to close our arcade due to the current county ordinance. The games are all shut down, but the movie theaters will still be available for use. If you would like to reserve a move theater time, please see the Front Desk or Concierge.

We welcome your feedback and suggestions on how to make Grand Timber Lodge a better place for you and your family.  You may always send ideas to eli@grandtimber.com for considerations!
