Grand Timber Lodge Property Info

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from your home in Breckenridge!

February was once again filled with snow and amazing skiing. Although we had a slower start to the snowfall this season than we had hoped for, it finally came in full force! Getting out on the mountain is a great way to forget about all the restrictions and challenges we are facing right now and get back to doing what we all know and love.

Speaking of restrictions, the town and county have loosened the restrictions on restaurants in town. They are all now back to 50 percent occupancy, which has greatly improved the ability to get a table or simply warm up and enjoy après ski! We are also pleased to announce that we have received the town’s 5-star certification for our aquatics, fitness centers, and massage studio! This certification indicates that Grand Timber Lodge is at the forefront of safety for our owners and guests, and when the time comes will be allowed to loosen restrictions more quickly than most establishments.

Here is a taste of what else has been going on around property:

  • We have removed comforters from the units and replaced them with a nice blanket. If you would prefer a comforter, we are happy to have one ready upon your request.
  • We installed a new HEPA filtration system on our shuttles. These high air flow fans use a UV light system to continually keep the air safe for our shuttle guests.
  • Interior painting is underway in Buildings 5 and 6. The new paint color is the same as the color in Buildings 1 through 4, which were completed in the past two years, and will be complemented by new carpet later this spring.
  • We are happy to announce that we now offer short- and long-term storage for any packages or belongings you want to keep here. For a charge of $5/day for most possessions and $10/day for anything large or oversized you can store your ski gear, winter clothing, or anything you may need for your stay.

We welcome your feedback and suggestions on how to make Grand Timber Lodge a better place for you and your family. You may always send ideas to eli@grandtimber.com for consideration!
