Grand Timber Lodge Property Information- December

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from your family in Breckenridge!

The holidays are a magical time in Breckenridge. It is great to see all the happy families enjoying their time together, utilizing the amenities, and getting out on the slopes. The town of Breckenridge also does a great job of providing plenty of fun activities. The annual running of the Santas will take place on December 3 this year. This fun race takes you down Main Street with all the participants dressed up like our jolly friends from the north. This event will be followed by the Lighting of Breckenridge, where they showcase the hard work the town employees put into decorating the town square. December 8 through the tenth brings our annual Ullrfest. Come pray to our favorite Norse god for a big snow winter, and while you are at it, you can join the attempt to set the world record for the longest shot ski. More information on these events can be found at GoBreck.

Here is what is going on around the property:

  • We have been getting a ton of positive feedback on the new furniture in the units. As a reminder, we make decisions for property upgrades based on your feedback, so please let us know if you have any suggestions.
  • The Building 6 restrooms and locker rooms in the hall by the restaurant are back open again. They are now remodeled to look and feel the same as the other locker rooms on the property.
  • Just a reminder that you have the option of composting during your stay. If you are interested in participating, simply ask the Front Desk for a container that housekeeping can empty upon request.
  • The resort is continuing to open more runs by the day. The ski-in and ski-out areas for GTL are now open.
  • The Christy Sports ski rental shop in the back of Building 5 is open for the season. And we are happy to announce that our owners and guests will receive a 20% discount.

We welcome your feedback and suggestions on making Grand Timber Lodge a better place for you and your family. You may always send ideas to eli@grandtimber.com for consideration!
