Grand Timber Lodge Property Information: January

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from your family in Breckenridge!

Winter is here, and so is the snow! We are on pace for another great season in Breckenridge and around Colorado. If you haven’t been to the ski resort in a while, I would highly recommend giving it a shot. The terrain is skiing well, and the mountain is almost 100% open.

In addition to great snow, January also brings us the International Snow Sculpture Championships. This fun event is back in full swing, with sculpting taking place January 23rd through the 27th and the viewing taking place January 27th through February 1st. Come see artists from all over the world compete to see who can turn a 20’ block of snow into the most creative and fund sculpture.

Here is what is going on around the property:

  • We are happy to announce that the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 and the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 have partnered with the same arcade vendor we use. The Summit Arcade cards you get will work at all three locations. Feel free to load up your arcade card with lots of credits and hit up all three arcades during your next stay
  • We are now offering owners a 10% discount on all purchases in the GTL market by the front desk. When you purchase an item, make sure to let them know you are an owner to get your discount
  • Now that winter is in full force, we have a lot of traffic on the property. If you are coming up for the day, feel free to utilize the day use lunchroom in building 6. This is a great room to eat with your family, rest, and watch some TV or play a board game!
  • Most off-property activity vendors are booked up or close to booked up for the busy season. If you are looking to book an activity, please reach out to our concierge team before your stay so they can set you up. Please also keep in mind that we have lots of fun activities to enjoy on the property between the activities center, Refresh Massage Studio, and the Grand Colorado Ice Rink.

We welcome your feedback and suggestions on making Grand Timber Lodge a better place for you and your family.  You may always send ideas to eli@grandtimber.com for consideration!
