Grand Timber Lodge Property Information: March

Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Greetings from your family in Breckenridge!

Spring break is upon us! I always love this time of year when families come together to get away from school and work to vacation with us. Seeing the kids grow up year after year or maybe even bringing kids of their own is always a treat. This time of year, the parking and roads are busy so I would highly recommend taking a bus or shuttle up from Denver if possible. Remember that we have a complimentary shuttle that runs daily from 8-11 as well as free public transportation in town.

Here is what is going on around the property:

  • We installed new seating in the movie theaters on the property. The new plush leather seats electronically recline and are tiered so the back row can see better.
  • Our sustainability team is in the process of installing new light sensors around the property to help avoid lighting areas unnecessarily. We are excited to reap the financial benefits of this for the HOA.
  • We are phasing in new sleek bell carts that are both easier to maneuver and can handle all your bags and boxes better.
  • Based on feedback from our owners we have replaced the extra blankets provided in each unit. The new blankets are fluffy and soft to provide you and your guests with a comfortable sleeping experience.
  • Our activities team is hard at work providing you and your family with fun exciting things to do for your stay. They have been seeing high demand for their on-property activities so we would advise you to book your stay as soon as you get checked in.
  • BGV Sustainability is teaming up with Keystone Science School in a gear drive! Bring your gently-used winter gear to the front desk for drop-off. Learn more about the gear drive here.

We welcome your feedback and suggestions on how to make Grand Timber Lodge a better place for you and your family.  You may always send ideas to eli@grandtimber.com for consideration!
