Letter from the Assistant General Manager

Dear Grand Timber Lodge Family,

Welcome to Breckenridge, where bluebird days and summer rays await! Grand Timber Lodge offers a sanctuary from the scorching summer heat. However, don’t let the cool mountain air fool you – the high alpine environment demands your attention, so be sure to lather on ample sunscreen and don sunglasses as you partake in your favorite recreational activities.

As Independence Day approaches, get ready for an array of family-friendly events that will keep you captivated. While fireworks are unavailable due to local fire danger, fear not, for there is no shortage of excitement. Head to Main Street for the Independence Day parade, tackle a 10K trail run or the Firecracker 50 bike race, and be awe-struck by the incredible Cirque de USA. These options promise an unforgettable day of celebration.

Calling all foodies and wine enthusiasts! Summit County has three spectacular events throughout July. Prepare your taste buds for the Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival, a two-day extravaganza on July 15th and 16th. On July 15th, treat yourself to the renowned Breckenridge Beer Festival, a paradise for beer lovers. Finally, from July 28th to 30th, indulge in the delectable Breckenridge Food & Wine Festival. These culinary adventures are not to be missed!

But wait, there’s more! Summit County offers two delightful Farmer’s Markets where you can immerse yourself in the local flavors. The Dillon Farmer’s Market takes place every Friday from 9am to 2pm, offering an abundance of fresh produce and handcrafted art until mid-September. The Breckenridge Sunday Market awaits every Sunday from 10am to 3pm, providing a vibrant atmosphere on Main Street Station until Labor Day weekend.

To ensure your stay at Grand Timber Lodge is extraordinary, we have upgraded our technology offerings. Our in-unit phone system and Wi-Fi service have undergone enhancements designed to elevate your experience. We understand that many of our valued owners bring their work on the road, and we hope that the breathtaking mountain views accompanying your time behind the laptop will inspire productivity and relaxation in equal measure.

As always, we value your feedback and suggestions on how we can make Grand Timber Lodge an even better place for you and your family. Please don’t hesitate to share your ideas with us at eli@grandtimber.com. Your input is vital to us!

Get ready to create unforgettable memories and bask in the grandeur of Breckenridge this summer. We can’t wait to welcome you home to Grand Timber Lodge.
