Ice Skating in Summit County


The arena offers ice skating, hockey, and games for the entire family. Public skating and hockey sessions are generally offered daily. Grand Colorado on Peak 8 Ice Rink

New coming to you on December 13, 2019, the first ice skating rank at the base Peak 8! Rent skates and helmets at the adjacent Breck Blades and take some laps accompanied by cozy fire pits and stunning mountain vistas.

Dercum Square is located in the heart of River Run Village, just a short skip from the gondola. The rink offers skating day and night. Enjoy the festive atmosphere in Dercum Square with beverages and light refreshments available for purchase. For more information, please call 970-496-4386.

Glide and twirl around Keystone’s 5-acre lake. Skate rentals are available on-site, and the lake is equipped with hockey board setups. Meadow Creek Pond is now open for free public skating from dawn until 10 p.m. The Meadow Creek Pond is located behind Walmart in Frisco. The pond is lit until 10 p.m., skaters are advised that they skate at their own risk. The rink may not be reserved; and guest must bring their own skates. There is nowhere in Frisco to rent skates.


The West Lake ice rink is located in the Center Village and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. During the winter season, it is typically open daily and skate rentals are available at City Pop. There is also broomball and hockey equipment available for free. Roast a marshmallow and warm up next to the fire put, then get the whole family back out on the ice for a game of hockey! Don’t miss the hot made-to-order donuts at Sugar Lips Mini Donuts located next to the rink. They also have a variety of hot coffee drinks or cocoa.
