New Restaurants in Breckenridge
The Breckenridge dining scene is constantly evolving and 2021 was no different! Venture out from your usual vacation routine and try out some of these newcomers. Perhaps one of these will become your new favorite!
Bird and Cow
Opened in December of 2021, Bird and Cow is located in the location previously occupied by Angel’s Hollow. Bird and Cow features menu items such as Cip’s Cheesesteak, Farmhouse Burger, a hand-breaded chicken dish called the Breck Birdie, and more! Check them out next time you are in town!

Mimo Fancy Tapas
Mimo Fancy Tapas is exactly what it sounds like- Spanish cuisine! Their menu features classic tapas dishes from Spain such as paella, croquetas, jamon iberico and patatas bravas. Mimo Fancy Tapas also prides themselves on their elaborate cocktails. Also opened in 2021, they are located near the corner of Adams and Main Street. Come by to experience authentic Spanish culture. Tin Plate
Tin Plate joined the Breckenridge dining scene in June of 2021 with a menu that primarily features delicious, artisanal pizzas. Tin Plate is located on Ridge Street between Fatty’s and Breckenridge Mountain Outfitters. Some of their tasty creations include pizzas such as peach and prosciutto, elote, and pineapple pancetta. If you’d like a little something more, they have an array of starters such as warm spiced olives and golden beet salad. Try them out for an elevated pizza experience!

La Française Bistrot
La Francaise Bistrot is brand new to Breckenridge, opened December of 2021, but they bring with them lots of experience. As you might tell by the name, their menu is French cuisine, featuring items such as duck confit cassoulet, boeuf bourguignon, bone marrow and escargots. Their restaurant aims to bring a warm and homey atmosphere and to make their patrons feel at ease with old French music playing. Bienvenue à Breckenridge La Francaise Bistrot!

Oaxacan Bites
Oaxacan Bites is located at the North end of Main Street, in the yellow taco stand. Opened in August of 2021, Oaxacan Bites features many taco truck favorites such as tacos, burritos and quesadillas. Additionally, this stand sells dishes popular and traditional to Oaxaca, Mexico. One such dish is called tlayuda, which is a thin tostada topped with beans, cheese, vegetables, cabbage, avocado and meat. Add them to your to-try list!

Semplice Cafe
Semplice Café opened in Breckenridge on Main Street in January of 2020. Their owners- one pescatarian, one vegan, noticed a lack of vegetarian and vegan options in town. Their menu features primarily vegetarian/vegan options, with a few meat options as well. They are open for breakfast and lunch and serve breakfast burritos, bagels, paninis, toasts, smoothies and salads. One tasty panini option, bacon & blues, is made with mozzarella, blueberry preserves, basil, arugula and bacon! Yum!

Ski Town Chicken Joint
Ski Town Chicken Joint, also opened in 2021, is located just off Main Street on Adams Avenue. With a full bar and big screen TVs, they would be a great place to watch the game! Their menu features (you guessed it) many chicken options with comforting sides such as fried okra and pickles, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy and red beans and rice. GIve them, and their homemade barbeque sauces, a try!

Dynamite Cookies
If you need a little something sweet after all of that tasty food, try out Dynamite Cookies! Located in a restored historic mining shed circa 1882, they specialize in beer and cookie pairings. The cookies are made with locally made sourdough and the beer selection showcases local breweries. Some of the cookies in rotation are double chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia as well as seasonal flavors. Grab a cookie and a beer!

Mountain View Coffee Bar
Mountain View Coffee Bar is in the perfect location, right in the middle of Main Street. They occupy the location that was formerly Cabin Coffee and have been there just a few months! Check them out to warm up with a pick-me-up after a day on the slopes or while shopping downtown. Their chai is a must try!
