Whether owner or employee, we are all a part of the BGV family! This OneBGV segment gives our employees a chance get to know our owners and vice versa. With our BGV Family Spotlight we highlight an employee and an owner each month. For a chance to win $50 Reward Dollars, owners can visit the Owners Only segment below and fill out the form. Employee Spotlight

This month’s employee spotlight is Debby Grosse! Chris works as the Front Office Coordinator for Grand Lodge on Peak 7. Here is a little bit more about Debby:

  • What is your role with BGV? –Front Office Coordinator
  • Favorite part of your job? -The best part of my job is interacting with all the owners and guests that come year after year. So many I can call friends and stay in touch year after year. I love when a child runs up and gives me a hug and says, “remember when you helped me when I busted my lip open, thank you for taking care of me,” or getting a note from a family whose child’s last wish was to see snow for the first time ever. It was granted and the family got to enjoy a wonderful today together making a snowman and visiting the movie theater. One month later, this little girl passed from cancer. 
  • Favorite thing to do outside of work? –Ski, snowshoe, hike, camping, needlepoint, and cooking.
  • What is your favorite place you have traveled to? –Bora Bora and Moorea
  • What made you move to Breckenridge? –We had neighbors in suburban Chicago that moved to Breckenridge and we came to visit and fell in love with Breck! We became neighbors again! We adore the mountains and all that you can do. Every season is special!
  • And last, anything else you would like our owners to know about you? –It has been such a very special journey working for BGV. I am grateful to work with so many fun people, as well as all the owners and guests I have met over the years! My husband and I are retiring and moving to southwest Florida this coming October- which is definitely bittersweet. Thank you all so much for the love and kindness over the years. Owner Spotlight

This month’s owner spotlight is Jean Toillion! The Toillion’s have been owners with us since 2001. They are owners at Grand Timber Lodge. Here is a bit about the Toillion family!

  • What is your favorite place you have traveled to? – Kauai, Hawaii
  • How long have you been owners with Breckenridge Grand Vacations? – 2001
  • What property or properties do you own? – Grand Timber Lodge
  • What made you join the BGV Family? –Love of the mountains and the community feel of Breck. We love to bike and spend our time biking the beautiful paved trails in and around Breckinridge. We also love the hiking that is right out your back door.
  • What is your favorite thing about your ownership? –Being able to have a mountain resort to come to that is peaceful and serene. It is so relaxing there! We have created many family memories with our kids and our grandkids
  • What is your favorite restaurant in Breckenridge? –Eric’s Downstairs for sure! It’s tradition. We have a son named Eric!
  • Anything else you would like to share about yourself or your ownership? –My husband talked me into buying. Its one time that I did listen to him. It’s been like coming home to that familiar vacation spot that holds so many precious memories. Life is short and we don’t take our time here for granted. We are glad for the consistency that Grand Timber and Breckenridge holds.
