Rob Millisor: Legacy In Action

BGV has honored late owner/developer Rob Millisor through the Heart Health event for almost a decade. This year, we are changing our approach to celebrating Rob’s memory with a new volunteer-based event, Rob A. Millisor (RAM) Legacy in Action. RAM Legacy in Action engages BGV employees, family members, and sponsors to highlight our commitment to giving back like Rob did. The change is rooted in a desire to keep Rob’s legacy vibrant and meaningful in our community!

Farmer’s Markets Begin

June 7, June 9

The sure sign that summer is here is when the farmer’s markets open for the season! The Breckenridge Sunday Market and the Dillon Farmer’s Market are great places to shop for artwork, handmade goods, local produce, and so much more. Enjoy live music, yoga, and community while supporting local artisans and businesses. The Dillon Farmer’s Market takes place each Friday throughout the summer, and the Breckenridge Sunday Market takes place each Sunday.

Dillon Farmer’s Market

Epic Discovery Park Opens

June 14

The Epic Discovery Park, located at the Peak 8 base area, will be opening for the season, along with the BreckConnect Gondola, on June 14Join in the family fun with fun games such as putt-putt, climbing walls, ropes courses, alpine coasters, and more! Check the Breckenridge Resort website for additional operations information and to purchase tickets.

10 Mile Pride Festival

June 14-16

10 Mile Pride, formerly Breck Pride, will be celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in a weekend-long festival! As their website describes, “the event aims to educate and inspire attendees to promote acceptance, tolerance, and respect, and to create a safe space where everyone can come together and celebrate regardless of their sexual orientation, or gender identity.” With events such as Pride Ride, drag queen performances, pride yoga, and more, the LGBTQ+ community and allies can embrace the outdoors and who you are!

Lake Dillon Beer Festival

June 15

Lake Dillon Beer Festival returns for another unforgettable event! Taste beers from over 30 Colorado breweries with a breathtaking Lake Dillon and the Tenmile Range backdrop. There will be beer (of course), food vendors, and live music available at the Dillon Amphitheater. Take in the views and the music while trying out some local craft brews. As if it wasn’t good enough already, this event supports the Colorado Brewers Guild and the Blue River Watershed Group.

Keystone Bacon & Bourbon

June 22-23

The Keystone tradition, Bacon and Bourbon Festival, returns for another year at River Run Village! Vendors from all across the state will cook up bacon and bacon-inspired cuisine, with dozens of bourbons available for sampling through the VIP Bourbon Tour. Families can bring their kids to the activities available at Camp Bacon. This weekend-long celebration is an ode to all things bacon!

Breckenridge Agave Festival

June 28-30

Watch out, there’s a new event in town! This year, the Breckenridge Agave Festival joins our summer lineup for all those taco and tequila lovers out there. Sample high-end tequila and mezcal while enjoying tacos handcrafted by local chefs. Enjoy live music while you indulge in tequilas during the Grand Tasting events. This event will be located in the Main Street Station area, with an agave pairing dinner at Quandary Tequila Bistro!

Independence Day

July 4

The event that needs no introduction! On Independence Day, downtown Breckenridge will come alive with family-friendly Fourth of July fun. Main Street will close to vehicles from French to Park Avenue for our patriotic Independence Day celebration. Look forward to athletic competitions, live music and events, and the Main Street Parade! As this is a very busy and popular event, it is recommended that your pets stay at home and visitors take public transportation when possible!

Breckenridge Art Festival

Breckenridge Beer Festival

Whether you’re a beer connoisseur or just seeking a memorable outing, Breckenridge Beer Festival is a guaranteed good time! And better still, event proceeds will benefit SOS Outreach– enjoy your beer while giving back!

Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival

July 13-14

Raise your wine glasses for the return of the Keystone Wine & Jazz Festival, a beloved annual event hosted by our neighbors in Keystone. The event takes place in River Run Village and offers an extensive selection of wine and food for visitors to sample. With nearly 300 wines, there is an option for every wine lover! Friends of Dillon Ranger District

One of our most treasured local non-profit organizations, Friends of Dillon Ranger District (FDRD), offers a variety of programs to keep us learning and exploring all summer long! Friends of Dillon Ranger District is an active, locally-based stewardship organization that works for sustainable management of our local forest with the help of volunteers and collaboration with the US Forest Service.
